The Arrival of My Crystal Harp

My beautiful crystal harp has arrived — and it carries the most touching story.

I bought this harp from a sound therapist in San Diego who, sadly, had to retire due to health reasons. When it arrived, I could still see his fingerprints on the delicate crystal tubes, a reminder of the care and energy he had poured into this sacred instrument. It felt as though a piece of his spirit had travelled across the world to continue its journey with me.

The moment I first played it, I was completely entranced. The sound is so pure, shimmering, ethereal, and deeply soothing. It feels like light made audible. Every note resonates through the air like a gentle blessing, weaving effortlessly into my soundscapes.

There’s something very special about instruments that have had a life before us, they carry the energy of their past, ready to blend with our own intention and love. I feel honoured to be the new custodian of this harp, and I can’t wait to explore all the ways it will dance with the bowls, gongs, and voice in my sessions.

This crystal harp feels like a gift, both from its previous owner and from the universe and I’m so grateful it found its way to me.
